Subject coverage includes all aspects of law including administrative law, banking, companies and securities, constitutional law, copyright law, criminal law, environmental law, family law, human rights, international law, legal aid, and trade practices. Full text coverage is from 1999; index coverage from 1975.

Australian Public Affairs - Full Text (APA-FT ) Australian Public Affairs - Full Text is an online collection of articles from more than 400 Australian journals indexed in APAIS, the Australian Public Affairs Information Service produced by the National Library of Australia. Subject coverage includes social science, education, current affairs, business, economics, humanities, health and law. Full text coverage is from 1995: index coverage from 1978.

HeinOnline Law Journals More than 1,200 law and law-related periodicals in full text. The scope is predominantly US law reviews, but selected international titles, and journals from common law countries are also included. Coverage is from the first issue published for all titles, but the latest issues included may lag behind publication by a year. Full-text searching is possible at collection and title level, and additional indexes (Kindex, and Index of Periodical Literature Relating to Law 1958 – 2007) are also provided.

Index to legal periodical literature 1888 – 1937 (Chipman & Jones)   A 6 Volume Index of legal periodical literature published in the United States . Index to Legal Periodicals, 1908-1935 (AALL) (on C19th Masterfile) Initially published for the American Association of Law Libraries, early volumes are searchable in C19th Masterfile.
From 1981 the index is searchable as Index to Legal Periodicals Full Text on Wilson Web (see below). Printed volumes for 1936 to 1980 are available at OPL 340.05 in the Social Science Reading Room.

LawCite is in development under the direction of the Australian Legal Information Institute and partners.

Lexis Library Extensive online law library focussing on law in the UK. In addition to legislation, law reports, associated updating functions, selected journals and legal news sources, Lexis provides many long standing and leading sources of practical legal commentary, forms and precedents and regulatory materials. The service enables easy access to many systematically updated general encyclopaedias, and specialised works whose multi volume and loose leaf printed equivalents are often hard to access at the British Library. Persee: le portail de revues scientifiques en sciences humaines et sociales Persee is a portal to entire back runs of French language social and human sciences journals. It was launched in 2004 by the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research. Subject areas covered include Anthropology, law, politics; history, sociology and geography. It includes the full text of the Revue française de science politique from 1951 to 5 years behind the current date. Free access is guaranteed to back issues only. Most titles operate on a rolling wall basis with new articles being added annually but always remaining 3-5 years behind the current date. All articles are in French only.

Westlaw Journals and Legal Journal Index Westlaw UK offers a full text collection of articles from Sweet and Maxwell and other publishers' law journals.
