Third Sector Knowledge Portal The Third Sector Knowledge Portal is a new destination site for research and information on the third sector. It is a free to use online library and web catalogue with a unique indexing thesaurus, developed in partnership with the British Library to help meet the sector’s knowledge sharing needs. It will give convenient access to key research in areas such as commissioning, social and economic impact, equality, political analysis, social enterprise and much more. Families & Society Collection Families & Society Collection (formerly Family & Society Plus) is the authoritative Australian full text family information service. It provides access to citations and abstracts plus full text journal articles and over 9000 links to other full text material available on the web. Source documents include journal articles, conference papers, books, government publications, research reports, discussion and working papers, statistical documents, annual reports, bibliographies and theses. Subject coverage includes adolescence and youth, aged care, health policy, family law and social change. Full text coverage is from 2000: index coverage from 1980.

Multicultural Australia and Immigration Studies Multicultural Australia and Immigration Studies (MAIS), produced by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs Library, is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts a wide range of media from published and unpublished material on all aspects of Australian immigration and multicultural issues from 1988 onwards. Social Policy Digest The Digest provides you with up-to-date listings of policy developments, practice changes, research reports and publications in the whole range of social policy areas, together with hyperlinks to the original documents (and often to comment and press coverage too). The archive of material, dating back to 2002, now contains well over 22,000 items. The Digest is organised into 24 main subject areas, and within each of those by individual topic.  The entries on each topic page will be listed in date order, with the most recent first.  Material more than 12 months old is held in the Archive section and organised by calendar year.

Database Guide (PDF)
This is a bibliographic database covering social policy, social care, public health, housing, homelessness, community development and regeneration, crime, law and order, children, families and older people. Material is mainly from the UK with some references from the USA and Europe. The database is oriented towards applied research, policy and practice and so complements theoretical sources. References are from 1890 to date, with the majority being from the 1980s onwards.
