Food and Drink at the British Library

There is a choice of places to eat and drink at St Pancras. Each one offers great British food combined with exceptional front of house service from our partners Graysons and Origin Coffee.

Graysons’ ethos on food is simple - it must be tasty and honest. Great food comes from great ingredients, so Graysons will always champion local producers and seasonal produce.

Coffee Shop

The Coffee Shop is located on the Upper Ground Floor. It offers a wide range of homemade dishes, warming soups, fresh salads, a wide range of hot and cold sandwiches, homemade cakes and snacks. Coffee, teas and a selection of cold drinks are also available.

Graysons’ coffee is supplied by Nude Coffee Roasters, a micro-roastery based in Spitalfields. Sourced from around the world, Nude roasts small batches of beans daily for us and delivers it by bicycle. They source green coffee from single farms and estates where the focus is quality, provenance, sustainability, freshness and fair relationships with the growers. The espresso is made from a blend of coffees using the freshest, tastiest crops of the season.

Origin Coffee Bar

Located in the Entrance Hall, this coffee shop offers a superb selection of espresso-based drinks and batch brew filter coffee. You can expect a regularly rotating selection of direct trade coffees as well as pastries and doughnuts.

Origin Coffee Euston Road

Located on the Euston Road, this coffee shop showcases the very best in speciality with the roaster’s direct trade single origin coffees and regularly rotating feature coffees. As well as delicious espressos, it serves filter options – batch and pour overs – as well as bottled cold brew.

Alongside the coffee menu, you will find a carefully curated selection of speciality teas and cold drinks. Origin’s focus on quality and provenance is also at the heart of a delicious breakfast and lunch menu with meats sourced from British producers through Cannon and Cannon and British made cheeses sourced from Neal’s Yard. Expect items such as smoked pork belly brioche buns and avocado on sourdough.
