The Gothic Imagination: A Conference for Teachers

The British Library and the English and Media Centre join together in a new partnership. This conference for Secondary English teachers will include speeches from academic Angela Wright and author Marcus Sedgwick, and participatory workshops that consider the Gothic genre through a variety of means including creative writing, close text analysis, film and digital sources. The day will draw inspiration from the British Library's next major exhibition Terror and Wonder: The Gothic Imagination, and will include the opportunity to explore the show.
