Building on the success of the last three collaborative conferences between the British Library and the Guardian, this event promises to be another stimulating day for Secondary English teachers. The conference will look at being creative with books, engaging teenagers with reading for pleasure, and approaches to reading choices including the role of illustration and the graphic novel. The morning will take place at the Guardian and the afternoon at the British Library, including the chance to visit the exhibition, Comics Unmasked: Art and Anarchy in the UK
