The manuscript includes two works by Lucas De Heere written and illustrated by the author:ff. 1r-27v: Corte Beschryvinghe van Engheland, Schotland, ende Irland, a short description of England, Scotland and Ireland; preceded by f. 1r: a title page; ff. 2v-3r: a printed map of the British Isles, by the cartographer Abraham Ortelius (b. 1527, d. 1598) and, f. 5r: the author's preface 'L.
