Street Knowledge
Street Knowledge is a set of four photo-video journeys recorded during 2006. Together they cover over 40 miles of London's diverse neighbourhoods and landmarks.
Through a vivid combination of photographs, video footage, voice-overs and ambient sound, Street Knowledge reveals the contrasting tempos and moods of Londoners.
The story-line for each journey, portrayed through cabbies' voice-overs,
is based on the idea of 'appearances'. Appearances are the occasions
when trainee taxi-drivers are tested by an examiner.
