Epigrams of Oscar Wilde
Richard Coles and his guests discuss the life and writings of Oscar Wilde
and the insight they offer on his times and our own. On the panel are:
Jonathan Dollimore, Professor of English at the University of York and
author of Sexual Dissidence (a study in which Wilde is one of the
main figures); Neil Sammells, Dean of Humanities at Bath Spa University
College and author of Wilde Style; and Roy Foster, Caroll Professor
of Irish History at Oxford University and author of The Oxford Illustrated
History of Ireland and WB Yeats, a Life. The chair, Richard
Coles, is a musician and broadcaster.
This event is co-produced with BBC Radio 3s Night Waves and
will be broadcast on Tuesday 14 November.
