Specially commissioned by and for the British Library: an anthology of
Oscar Wildes best writing for actresses, the female audience and
the women in his life: Salomé, Lady Bracknell, Sarah Bernhardt,
Mrs Arbuthnot, Miss Prism, Lilly Langtry, Ellen Terry, Queen Victoria,
his wife Constance and many more.
Anna Carteret is well known for her appearances in Peak Practice,
Juliet Bravo and The Pallisers. Her leading rôles
for the National Theatre, in the West End and on Broadway include an acclaimed
Mrs Cheveley in An Ideal Husband. Paula Wilcoxs starring
TV appearances include
Man about the House, The Queens Nose, Peak Practice and
The Stalkers Apprentice. She has starred in many West End
productions, such as Shirley Valentine, Pygmalion and The
Queen and I.
Paula appeared last December at the British Library in the Noël Coward
poetry revue
Not Yet the Dodo.
