Patrick
Marley reads
The
Canterville Ghost and The Selfish Giant
A pre-Christmas treat. Patrick Marley relates two of Wildes best-loved
stories. The Canterville Ghost tells how an unhappy spirit
causes havoc by haunting Canterville Chase before bringing about a happy
ending for the young Duke and Duchess. The Selfish Giant is
one of the most poignant and charming fairy stories ever written.
Patrick Marley has worked widely in television, in repertory and on tour,
and has made many appearances in the West End, including Richard II
and Richard III at the Phoenix and Loves Labours
Lost and Henry V in Regents Park. He has also appeared
at the Old Vic and on tour in Trelawney of the Wells and The
Merchant of Venice. Recently he has been playing nationally and abroad
in his own show, Wilde at Heart.
