Video: Sacred on Location at Wandsworth Prison

‘Sacred into Prisons’ was a joint venture between the British Library and Wandsworth Prison. The programme focused on delivering an exhibition and creative workshops for prisoners exploring the links between the Abrahamic faiths.

Ten prisoners were picked by the prison’s World Faith Chaplaincy Team. They then led art workshops with groups of 20 inmates per session. Prisoners were given the opportunity to produce their own sacred text on the subject 'What is sacred to me'.

This film consists of interviews with the chaplain and inmates.
