Worship: Introduction

Communal prayer takes place for Jews in a synagogue, for Christians in a church and for Muslims in a mosque.

Rabbis, priests or ministers, and imams are spiritual leaders in Judaism, Christianity and Islam respectively. They conduct communal prayer, and advise individuals on matters of faith and everyday life.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have certain holy places which are often the destination of pilgrimages. Jerusalem is a holy place for all of them.
