Sepia wash drawing of a temple in a grove of trees by George Francis White (1808-1898) inbetween the 1820s and 1840s. The image is inscribed: 'Temple of Lutchmee on the Ganges R. G.F.W. del'. It has not been possible to trace this temple, probably drawn on the March to Buxar. The fort land was in the hands of the military as a cantonment from 1770 to 1842.
