Engraving of an Indian woman and a Muslim priest by Peltro William Tomkins (1760-1840) after William Hodges (1744-1797). Plate 13 of William Hodges 'Travels in India, during the years 1780, 1781, 1782, & 1783' published in London in 1793. While in Agra visiting the Taj Mahal, Hodges sketched some of the people he saw there. This sketch shows an Indian woman and a Muslim priest.
