Photograph from the Curzon Collection: 'Vist of His Excellency the Viceroy. Kotah, November, 1902' of the Crosthwaite Institute at Kota in Rajasthan, taken by P.A. Herzog and P. Higgins in 1902. It is designed in an Anglo-Indian style with Rajput architectural details such as the cusped arch colonnades and projecting balcony. This view shows the building still under construction. The photograph is one of a number recording sites of interest in Kota taken by Herzog and Higgins when they accompanied Lord Curzon on an official visit in November 1902.
