Photograph of the façade of a temple in the Khartaravasi Tuk, Satrunjaya. Lyon wrote that this photograph '...Shows the façade of an old temple in the Khartaravasi enclosure built in 1618-1619 and illustrates in detail the carvings thereon. It is most interesting for the purpose of comparison with other temples such as Hallabeed in Mysore, &c. The figures are exceedingly grotesque and the stone, though apparently hard, yet seems to have been much affected by the weather so much so that it is nearly impossible to credit that the carvings to be seen in Photos 460 and 472 were executed five hundred years before those here shown.'
