Photograph from the Curzon Collection: 'Views in Meywar'', of the doorway of Sanga Chauri temple in Chittore Fort, taken by Deen Dayal in c.1890. The Jain Shringara Chauri Temple in Chitorgarh, dedicated to Shantinatha, dates from 1456. The doorway is elaborately carved with Jain figures, river goddesses and yakshi. The back walls have pierced screens with geometric motifs.
