Photograph of the Small Sasbahu Temple, Gwalior, from the Archaeological Survey of India Collections, taken by an unknown photographer in c.1880. The two Sasbahu Hindu temples date from 1093 and stand within the great fortress, on a hill overlooking the town of Gwalior. This view shows the smaller of the two Sasbahu Temples which consists of an open porch with a pyramidal roof. The high basement and the vaulted ceiling of the interior are decorated with carved patterns.
