Photograph of a small palace in Islamic style at Nawada, near Bhind, Gwalior State, taken by Joseph David Beglar in the 1870s. The building is rectangular in plan. It has an enclosed section to the left with an arcaded verandah of cusped arches projecting from the main building on a low plinth to the right. The interior of the palace is of two storeys, whilst the verandah is single storeyed only. The palace has various local features including a single domed kiosk that survives on the roof of the verandah and sloping eaves projecting from its exterior walls below the parapet.
