Tiruchchirappalli, the 'City of the Three-headed Demon', is famous for the rock by which it is dominated and which may be seen from miles around. The most important Islamic building in the city is Nathar Shah's Mosque, which contains the tomb of the saint Sultan Saiyad Babayya Nathar Shah, shown in the photograph.
