Photograph of Bibi Achut Kuki's Mosque at Ahmadabad in Gujarat, taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s, from the Archaeological Survey of India. This mosque was built in 1469 by Imad al Mulk for his wife Bibi Achyut Kuki whose tomb is nearby. There were originally seven minarets, three on the outer entrance and two on the facade of the mosque; most of these were ruined in the earthquake in 1819. This view shows the facade with three arched entrances and minarets on either side of the main entrance.
