Photograph of the Isanpur Mosque, or Malik Isan's Mosque, at Ahmadabad in Gujarat, taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s, from the Archaeological Survey of India. The mosque, built in c.1520, sits at the west end of a rectangular court surrounded by a corridor. The entire mosque and courtyard stand on a raised platform with porches on the east and north side, approached by steps. The facade has a raised central area with two wings, each covered in a dome; the two side domes are the same size as the central one but lower.
