This photograph was taken for the Archaeological Survey of India by Robert Gill in 1871. It shows a general view of the small ruined temple that lies to the north of the larger Vishnu temple in the same town. The temples at Satgaon are built in the Hemadpanti style of the 13th century Yadava period. The temple, despite it delapidated state in the image, has retained some of the carved pillars of the hall and of the porches. The tower over the sanctuary has collapsed.
