Photograph of the central part of the fa├žade of Yar Muhammad's Tomb at Khudabad near Dadu in Sindh, Pakistan, taken by Henry Cousens in 1896, Archaeological Survey of India Collections: Western India 1894-96. Khudabad was ruled by the Kalhorah dynasty in the 17th and 18th centuries. The tomb of Yar Muhammad (d.1718), brother of Mian Nur Mahammad, is a massive square building with a dome, decorated with glazed tiles. On three sides of the gallery around the dome are rows of arched windows fitted with terracotta screens with geometric tracery.
