Photograph of a large block of carved hornblende from Devikot taken by John Henry Ravenshaw in c.1871. Ravenshaw wrote in his 'Descriptive note of the photographs of ancient architectural remains in Kantonugger and Bannugger' in Bengal public proceedings no. 26 of October 1871. 'This view represents a large block of hornblende taken from the vicinity of Bannugger; it is very elegantly carved. It nows lies in the courtyard of the zemindar's cutcherry at Termooli.'
