This photograph of sculpture slabs lined up along the fa├žade of the Bihar Museum was taken by Joseph David Beglar in the 1870s and is from the Archaeological Survey of India Collections. Bloch lists the items as, "Aditya, Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha, Vishnu, Avalokiseshvara, a slab with nine avataras, various female deities." The slabs depict a mixture of both Buddhist and Brahmanical deities and unfortunately the original context of these sculptures is not known making any assessment of date difficult.
