A hand-coloured print of the Bhoshri Mosque, Calcutta, from the Fiebig Collection: Views of Calcutta and Surrounding Districts, taken by Frederick Fiebig in 1851. View from the street showing a portion of the Bhosri mosque, near the Chitpore Road, with an alleyway to right. The mosque was constructed in 1804 and was next door to the Tomb of Bhosri Shah, which was credited with healing powers and was a place of pilgrimage for both Muslims and Hindus.
