Photograph of Thul Rukan near Moro in Sind, Pakistan, taken by Henry Cousens in 1896, from the Archaeological Survey of India Collections: Western India 1894-96. Thul Rukhan is a Buddhist stupa situated about nine miles south of Daulatpur. It is built of brick with four tiers, each one smaller than the one below, surmounted by a dome. The tiers are ornamented with pilasters at intervals and are separated by string courses. This is a general view of the stupa, with a bush in the foreground.
