Photograph of the Motibag Palace at Baroda, Gujarat from the Curzon Collection, taken by an unknown photographer during the 1890s. The palace is a small villa situated in the grounds of the Lakshmi Vilas Palace, built by the Gaekwar Sayaji Rao III (ruled 1875-1939). It dates from the reign of Maharaja Ganpat Rao (1847-1856) and is one of several small palaces in the grounds built by past Maharajas including the Vishran Bag, Mastu Bag and Chiman Bag. This is a general view showing the columned and pedimented verandah and balcony of the front facade.
