Photograph of the marble image of the Tirthankara Parshvanath in the Jhavari Premchand Temple in Lalachand Modi Premchand Tuk, Satrunjaya. This photograph shows the image seated in shrine consisting of richly-carved columns and lintel. Lyon wrote: "Close to the entrance to the enclosure of Modi Premabhoy is a small temple built in 1803 by Javeri Premchand and in this will be found the image of Parshwanath here shown. It is of white marble and quite plain and the attitude the same as that in which all the Jain deities are invariably represented, but the wonderful and beautiful detail of the carving on the pedestal, on which the figure sits as well as that of the two pillars and roof of the small shrine certainly merit, and will well repay the closest inspection.''
