Vignetted, head-and-shoulders carte-de-visite portrait of Sir Hira Singh, Raja of Nabha (c.1843-1911) from the 'Album of cartes de visite portraits of Indian rulers and notables' by Bourne and Shepherd, early 1870s. Nabha, located in Punjab, was controlled by the descendents of the Phulkians. Hira Singh succeeded as Raja in 1871 and in 1911, his title changed to Maharaja of Nabha.
