Photograph of a paper copy of two inscriptions, the upper from Dholpur and the lower from Bayana, both in Rajasthan, taken by Joseph David Beglar in the 1870s. This image is reproduced as a lithograph in A. Cunningham's, Report of a tour in Eastern Rajputana in 1882-83, which states, regarding the upper inscription, 'One mile to the south of the city of Dholpur there is a pretty little tomb surrounded by trellised railing of red stone, which is the last resting place of Bibi Zarina...the short inscription of three lines at the foot of her tomb [reads] "The late Lady Zarina died on the 14th of the month Shaban, on the first day of the week (Sunday), in the year 942 A.H."' No translation is given for the lower inscription. (Archaeological Survey of India vol. XX, 1885)
