Photograph from an album of 80 albumen prints taken by Eugene Clutterbuck Impey. View of the fort in Rajgarh in Rajasthan. Rajgarh was once the chief city of Alwar. In James Fergusson's description which accompanies the photograph, 'The fort is of considerable extent and picturesque appearance, with massive flanking towers, and within contains some apartments of extreme beauty of design. One of these, the 'Mirror Hall', is unsurpassed by anything of its class in any palace in India.'
