Photograph of the British Residency at Baroda, Gujarat from the Curzon Collection, taken by an unknown photographer during the 1890s. The Residency was situated in the cantonment to the north-west of Baroda. It was built in 1833-34 in the form of a plain, two-storeyed neo-classical villa, and replaced the former Residency which was situated in the Juni Kothi or old fort, in the Anandpura suburb of the city.
