Photograph of Sundara Narayana Temple in Nasik. The Sundara Narayana temple was built on the steep bank of the Godavari River in 1756 and is reached by a long flight of steps. The outer walls are decorated with horizontal bands of mouldings. The curvilinear spire over the sanctuary is made of a clusters of miniatures spires. Inside the sanctuary there are three black stone images of Vishnu with consorts.
