Photograph from the Curzon Collection with a view of the temple courtyard of U Zina Pagoda at Moulmein (Mawlamyaing) in Burma (Myanmar). In the centre stands the temple bell, which is about to be struck. To the left is a square shrine topped with a stupa. Behind can be seen a wooden temple building, with ornately decorated eaves and gables and a tiered roof characteristic of Burmese religious architecture. The pagoda stands on the southern spur of a ridge in East Moulmein and is one of five shrines and monasteries built on the ridge, dating from the town's ancient Mon past.
