Suspension Bridge (in the Public Park) [Vadodara]
Medium: Photographic print
Photograph of the suspension bridge in the public park at Baroda, Gujarat from the Curzon Collection, taken by an unknown photographer during the 1890s. The bridge spans the river Vishwamitri, which flows in a winding path through the park, known as the Sayaji Bagh. The park was laid out in the late 19th century on the banks of the river, and the bridge was one of several in the park and the most modern in construction.
