An albumen print by Richard Banner Oakeley showing the figures of three apsaras or celestial nymphs at the twelfth-century Hoysaleswara temple at Halebid in Karnataka. Oakeley wrote, 'These are intended to represent the three most celebrated of the female choristers attached to the Hindoo Heaven; their names are Rhemba, Urvasi, and Tilutamma [Rhamba, Urvashi and Tilottamma]'.
