Photograph of the Landa Qasab Gun, Bijapur from the Archaeological Survey of India Collections taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s. This massive gun, made of iron bands strapped together, is the greatest gun in Bijapur and is situated on the Landa Qasab bastion in the middle of the south wall of the city. It measures 6.55 metres long and weighs 47 tons.
