Photograph of the The Sat Manzili at Bijapur. The Sat Manzili or Seven-Storeyed Palace is situated on the South-west of the Gagan Mahall and has now only five floors. It was originally a three-storeyed building and terminated with a terrace of which the kanjura or merlon around the walls remain. It was built in 1583 by Ibrahim II for royal baths. Many rooms still have ornamental bathing pools and the ceilings are decorated with figurative frescos.
