Photograph of the baradari at Gujranwala in Punjab, Pakistan, from the Brandreth Collection: 'Views in Simla, Cashmere and the Punjaub' taken by an unknown photographer in the 1860s. A baradari is a pavilion or reception hall and usually has twelve doors or arches in its walls; three on each side. The baradari in this image was the Deputy Commander's Residence.
