The Shiva Temple of Kera dates from the 10th Century circa. The shrine is surrounded by a circumambulatory passageway. Only a part of the north wall of the mandapa with one window is left. The spire over the sanctuary is decorated with triangular motifs gradually diminishing in size. The photograph shows those on the back of the spire. The corners of the shrine have miniature spires and above these rises the main spire or shikhara. A perforated stone window allows light in the corridor of the pradakshina.
