Photograph of the temple of Amarchand Kiranchand inside the Motisah Tuk, Satrunjaya. Lyon wrote: ''Turning to the right on entering the Motisha enclosure in its N.E. corner the temple shown in this Photograph will be seen. It was built by Amarchand Khinchand in 1836 and is one of the very prettiest specimens of its class to be found on the hill. It may here be worthy of remark, that no one who has visited Ahmadabad, and studied its architecture can fail to be struck with the great similarity that exists between the ornamenture of these Jain temples and that of Ranee Seepree and other Mahomedan mosques to be found in the capital.''
