Photograph of the Jor Gumbaz, Bijapur from the Archaeological Survey of India Collections taken by Henry Cousens in the 1880s. This is a view looking towards the two tombs, known by the collective title of Jor or Jod Gumbaz (''twin domes''). The octagonal tomb with a large bulbous dome contains the remains of Khan Muhammad and his son Khawass Khan. It has doorways and lattice windows on each of its sides. The other, square in plan with a large dome, contains the remains of the religious figure Abd-al Razzaq Qadizi.
