This photograph of Wingfield Park from 'The Lucknow Album: containing a series of fifty photographic views of Lucknow,' was taken by Darogha Abbas Ali c.1874.

This park was designed as a memorial to Sir Charles Wingfield, Chief Commissioner of Awadh (1859-1866). The pavilion in center originates from the Kaisarbagh Palace and is central focus of the park. "The marble baradurree was once the pride of Huzrut Bagh. It was removed and rebuilt where it now stands, a graceful and elegant work of art, in the centre of the flower garden..."
