This is a plan of the London cattle market on Lower Road, Islington. The text on the right side of the sheet describes how the "upmost consideration has been taken in order to place the mart in a suitable location". The driving of cattle through the streets to the mart is objected to and the location of the mart has been chosen so as to reduce this. Most cattle comes from the north and east of the country and this has been taken into account when choosing a location.
