The area from Bloomsbury to Long Acre is depicted at the top, with the area from Long Acre to the River Thames at the bottom. Produced by the Sewers Office for Westminster, the plan shows the current sewage canals and the proposed lines of new sewers flowing into the Thames. The geological survey of the ground near the riverbank and the levels of the tides are also reported.
