This plan shows three sets of proposed renovations in London, at Charing Cross and the Strand; a street from New London Bridge to the Bank of England; and a tunnel under the Thames. Mark Brunel, father of the great engineer Isobard, was in charge of this last feat of engineering. A section through the river and tunnel and a plan of the line of the structure are included.
