“A Corner of Barton Broad. – This view is taken at the North-east end of the Broad which is the prettiest part; it is on the Dyke leading to Neatishead Street. If the reader will take the trouble to land at Irstead Church and walk about 300 yards along the road past the Church, he will obtain a splendid view of Barton Broad which will amply repay him for the exertion of his little stroll.”

Letterpress description by Ernest R. Suffling accompanying Plate XXX from ‘Sun Pictures of the Norfolk Broads’.
