“Artists at Work. – Many artists find East Norfolk a district which readily lends itself to pictorial representation, and on the walls of our Royal Academy are hung, every year, pictures of Norfolk scenery from the brushes of well-known artists. Visitors to the Academy will probably bring to memory the works of Messrs. Clansen, Goodall, Osborne, and others, all of whom are fond of depicting our scenery whether it represents landscape, seascape, or waterscape.”

Letterpress description by Ernest R. Suffling accompanying Plate LXXXI from ‘Sun Pictures of the Norfolk Broads’.
